"Bear Mountain is a great resort to stay at. Staff are friendly. The rooms are nice. Just wish there was shopping in the area. Had to drive 30 minutes to downtown where everything is at. Shopping, bar and great food areas. "

"This hotel was spic and span, with the most modern bathroom and furniture design. It is right near the boardwalk and the main fun streets Two slow things - Checking in took longer than average. What the heck are they writing down by hand? - If you opt for breakfast, it is made to order from a menu, and took 10+ minutes to receive. We were the only ones in the dining area at 6:45 a.m., I cannot imagine if there are 3 families and 2 couples all wanting to eat at the same time. For $9, it was a decent price for a breakfast and coffee/tea Parking was reasonable at $9/night"

"OMG this place is the REAL DEAL! You have to stay here when you come to Victoria!! The place is super clean, great food offered in the morning, close to dining options and a gas station. The dog motif was top notch as was all of the staff. Upon checking in, the gentleman at counter explained the pub connected to the restaurant and how part was family friendly! We were given adjoining rooms per our request. Rooms were so clean and bright, great bathrooms and wonderful beds! "

"The property is older, but very clean and well kept, and the location is great. Staff were very attentive and there to help, not just man the front desk. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again."
