Great Stay at Breakaway

We booked a two bedroom apartment( more like a house) which is a little out of town but in a quiet and beautiful environment It is close to the POW site and Japanese Gardens and war cemetery. For fitness types there is a great walk around the area . The facility is extremely clean and well appointed. There is even a garage for the car . The air con works well and one gets beautiful views of the sunset in the evening. It could do with a larger tv There is no in house WiFi Would have loved to stay longer but we needed to move on. If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Very clean and modern unit

We stayed at the unit as a one night stop on the way home on a long road trip. We were pleased to find a very clean and modern unit. Our four young children were able to share queen/double beds in the 2nd and 3rd room and the Beds were quite comfortable. The units are a short walk to Main Street and Supermarket. Whilst the unit is not designed for a family of 6, we did find the table quite small which only seats 3 and kitchen supplies limited. Otherwise the unit is well worth the stay and we will be staying again when next in the area.

The unit was nice enough and big, it was clean enough and very conveniently located near the shops and supermarket, the only downside was it all seemed very cheap but the cost was high per night, meaning the toilet paper was the cheapest thinnest they could find and we only had 2 roles! We had to go and buy our own! the towels weren't very great, the comforts you expect to have when you go away was missing.I just felt like I didn't get enough for the money I spent. Some of the cups and dishes were dirty and had to wash before we used them.

Nice PLace to stay

Centrally located and quite this place was just what we needed for a party of two travellers. Our only concern was that upon arrival the owners hadn't seen our booking and as such we were a surprise. It all turned out OK and we were able to get into the apartment within 10 minutes
