"This was our second stay and had a great time. The host and staff are wonderful. The location is terrific right on the beach with your own pool and 10-minute drive to a marina to go deep sea fishing. "

"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. Now let's get to what I thought was THE MOST fantastic view of the gulf! Your could sit there for hours in awe of this view. The pictures do not do capture this, you really need to be there to view it in all its glory. Don't think about it, just go for this property. "Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"Mariposa Villa was very clean, all systems and appliances were working well, and the property manager attended to our needs very responsively. Our stay was restful and restaurants nearby were fantastic. "The home was fantastic. It's location was great with breathtaking views. The staff was very attentive to our needs and provided a wonderful week for us. We loved the many alcoves where people could get alone to think or pray. The kitchen was great and the pool was wonderful. "

"I really enjoyed the location of Hotel South Beach as the beach itself was less rocky then going south or north. There is a surfing school right on the beach front and the staff at the school was so amazing. The staff at the hotel were extremely kind, fun and always pleasant. The rooms are basic, but that is all I needed in this wonderful environment. It is walking distance to the down town, El Miro hike and the famous Jaco sign...I even extended my holiday!! Thank you to Hotel South Beach staff for making my trip so memorable!"
