The crew consisted of Captain Miguel and the diving guide Jorge. Great people. On the way, drinks and snacks were served. Lugar fantástico para mergulhar de snorkel. Água morna e límpa. Éramos 8 pessoas de uma mesma família e alugamos uma lancha (Tintorero II). A tripulação era composta pelo Capitão Miguel e pelo guia de mergulho Jorge. Excelentes companhias. Durante o trajeto serviram bebidas e salgadinhos.

Food was very good and fresh with large portions. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Grounds were under construction and the outdoor furniture was pretty shabby. Overall good value.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It has a homey vibe. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, even the pillows, which is unusual! Housekeeping comes in each day and leaves clean towels and remakes our bed, even though we tried. Well organized with bills and check in and out.

We visited Blue Angel for a week. The dive shop is located on property. You walk to the end of the dock to catch the boat each morning. Shore diving is included The restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn your names & welcome you each time you visit. We ate the majority of our meals at the resort because of the excellent food and laid-back atmosphere. We truly felt like VIPs! (Special shout out to Diego, Armando, & Jared) We enjoyed a made to order breakfast each morning of our stay.

This small resort caters to divers. If you're looking for elegance, this is not your place. If you desire a small, close-knit community of returning guests who feel like family, you'll love Blue Angel.

We stayed on the first floor with a patio/ lawn walk out entrance. I read a few reviews before we arrived about noise from crews unloading oxygen tanks every morning but our room was pretty quiet. Room a bit musty, dingy, bathroom very small, to be expected for price point, room was not a priority for us. Staff were approachable, helpful. Food at the restaurant was a highlight. Big portions, fresh ingredients, great atmosphere. You can order on the lawn or to your patio if you ask. Renting a scooter or car through the front desk is just renting through the well-known local company HTL with a significant upcharge. If you have time, plan ahead through HTL directly. Rocky water access, water shoes are a must. Loved our stay. Would definitely return.

Had an outstanding experience at Blue Angle Resort. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Breakfast was amazing liked that we could order anything off the breakfast menu. Room was clean. Staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING… The owner Eva was around most nights hanging out and getting to know everyone that was staying there. She’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Always making sure everyone had everything they needed. Will definitely be going back and staying there again!!!!

I absolutely love the Blue Angel. They have the nicest little restaurant with live entertainment that you can even watch from your balcony. Staff is amazing and the location is perfect. Just far enough away from the cruise ships.

Property is in a convenient location to amenities and activities. All rooms have an ocean view. Restaurant serves good food. Good entertainment in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful. Street noise is loud throughout the day, improves overnight and starts again early in morning with loading of the scuba cylinders.

As a scuba diver this property is perfect. Has a dock for dive boats,you can do a shallow water dive right off the dock and dive shop on property. The entire staff of the hotel,restaurant and dive shop were fantastic. The property is a little run down but it did not bother me or my wife. Room were clean and comfortable.

Fabulous quaint ocean view hotel

The Blue Angel was perfect for us… the view of the ocean and sunsets from the balconie was supremely beautiful…. Included Breakfast was great!!! Eggs Benny or Pancakes or half papaya filled with other fruit cottage cheese….. we also took advantage of daily 2 for 1 happy hour… we also snorkled right at thre hotel and that was very cool too… lots of fish, some coral and even lots of sea urchins…would definitely recommend this place… 👍🏝️

Great spot for diving!! Very accommodating staff, fantastic restaurant with live music, and great dive shop at the resort! Even in heavy rains, we got in some incredible dives of the local reefs. You feel like family in a great community of divers! We'll be back!

The kitchen was being remodeled when we first got there. So they were serving everything out of a tent on the grass next to the pool. All the grass was wore out, and it was very muddy was the only real issue. The restaurant food was fantastic.

Great place to hang for a couple days! Great food and sometimes has music on site. Wake up, put snorkel gear on and explore! Have diving boats, but we didn't partake in that. Boat traffic can be heavy - so bring a bouy.

This property is set up for divers. We especially loved the option to shore dive independently and did several excellent night dives. Boat diving was also great and we were well looked after by all staff working with the dive shop. The food was varied and excellent. Again, all staff were fabulous and made our stay very comfortable. The live music was also great. The rooms are a little tired but if your focus is on diving it really isn’t an issue. They are very spacious and we loved having a view of the sea. If you are particularly sensitive to noise bring earplugs as you can hear the road a bit. We will stay again. Highly recommend.

The property was fine, old school Mexico. Staff was fantastic, business of diving not so good. After going back and forth with both the front desk (front desk VERY responsive, that's a positive) and dive shop for a week and getting settled to dive w Blue Angel, I got an email from the Dive Shop Manager a week later telling me (because I had not had a dive since 2023, about six months) that I had to pick one ---- a. pay for a $110 USD class to refresh, b. Pay approx $100 USD for a private Dive Master or c. pay $400 for a private boat. I declined to dive with them, and instead we did our diving with Aldora which was great, and I didn't need a special class. We are experienced divers with advanced certifications and were offended by the money grab. However, to my surprise, the hotel charged me $10 a day for my wife and I to walk off the dock into the Aldora dive boat. This was no where in the contract or the Blue Angel website. I thought it was tacky. But to Blue Angel's defense, the hotel manager wiped the charges off the bill. Thanks greatly to him for his quick reaction and great customer service. All in all, OK property and definitely only for divers. Some complain about beds, road noise and tanks clanking around early morning, we didn't notice. Put a beach towel on the floor behind your door, it does the trick. Beds just fine, it's a dive property, there are going to be clanging tanks.....deal with it. Many thanks to the staff of the restaurant and front desk.
