"The staff were very polite and efficient. The locations was great for us, quiet area that was close enough to the beach, shopping, dining without being in a crowd. "

"My kids and I stayed at the Island at Fort Walton Beach for 5 days. They had a lot of fun events throughout the day to attend and the live music on the deck by the beach was great. The resort was beautiful! There were a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. We could walk to the Okaloosa Island Pier and the Gulfarium. We were also only a few minute drive to Destin. I had only two concerns: the resort charged an additional $30/per day resort fee at check out. So be prepared to be charged the additional fees. (The front desk staff were not all that friendly or very customer service oriented.)
And the breakfast buffet "discounted rate" was $25.00 per person. The food was not worth $25.
Other than that, we loved the resort and the time we spent there. We felt safe and the resort was clean and well kept. We would definitely come back! "
"Property and location are great, Enjoyed being close to everything but far enough away that its feels like your in a more private condo. Definitely have a car if your going to travel around. We hit a few different places each day and enjoyed each one. The condo has everything you need to relax amd have plenty of space for small families. We used the grill a few times which were great to have, pool was always accessible and clean. Hosts were great amd had everything covered if you needed anything. Definitely would stay there anytime we travel"

"This property was very pretty, clean and within walking distance to the gulf and bayside beaches. We were able to contact Jon at anytime and he always responded and immediately resolved our questions. Would definitely stay at this property again! "We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and location was great. I was hesitant based off of some of the reviews from others on the walk to the beach area. Turns out it's not as far as anticipated. Also, the four cove areas at the end of the street are within walking distance as well. The parking for this area basically ends directly in front of where we stayed. Would recommend beach bags vs carts which are more difficult to pull in the sand. We did parasailing through Just Chute me which I highly recommend. I almost bought tickets to snorkel but would have been highly disappointed as the boats drop off snorkelers right at the beach we were on! Foodwise we recommend Boshamps, get there around 4:30/4:45 or be prepared for a couple hour wait! Bistrology was great for breakfast and common marketplace has delicious sandwiches. Saw a few turtles from the rocks by the beach and also walking to the end of the island. "
