We had a great time. We took our youth group from church. This place was perfect. The students were able to stay entertained in the basement with the pool table and ping pong plus the awesome dock down at the lake. We can’t wait to come back!!!

We enjoyed a weekend at Magnolia Manor with our church youth. The host was extremely accommodating and generous to us. This is a beautiful property with activities to entertain all ages! Thank you again, we hope to be back soon!!

The kitchen was really well stocked for a lot of people. The rooms were great except we didn't know that you had to go through the upstairs room to get to 3 more beds. The lake and sitting places were fantastic, our children and grandchildren had so much fun.

Wonderful spacious lakeside property! Very clean, plenty of beds, wonderful common space to spend quality time together! Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Grounds were beautiful and well-appointed with lots of good outdoor seating. Perfect for a big family get together!

Spent the long 4th of July weekend here. Ricky was the best host. I had many questions leading up to check in and he was very responsive. The house is beautiful and well quipped! Location is great! The neighbor allowing us to use their drive way to get to the dock was a life saver and their fireworks show was lit! Highly recommend this house!

We had a family reunion Christmas gathering and The house was perfect for us all. Places for kids to play, teenagers had some room to escape and the adults had plenty of lounge space to enjoy themselves. Church College Retreat

We had 25 students sleep comfortably in this house. The accommodations were wonderful and we had a great weekend. The lake and dock had to be everyone’s favorite! The students had a great time jumping off into the water and even watching the stars at night! The hike up was definitely worth it! We loved the house and would love to stay again!

Family Fun

Our family gathered in this well-stocked, large home for connection through stories, food, play, and celebrations. We had plenty of room for all ages to enjoy each other. I was afraid the steps to the dock were too much, but they were actually really easy b/c slope and height were accounted for. Location for supplies and boat rental and use were excellent. Host was available, house fit our needs.

Fabulous place

The house is beautiful and well kept. Very clean. The lake is beautiful. My family floated in the water or sat on the deck. I am 78 so the steps are a little too much for me and my pregnant granddaughter but the host made arrangements with the neighbors for us to drive down to the pier and park. Would recommend for sure.

Family Christmas Getaway

The property is wonderfully suited for family gatherings. The great room/kitchen area are fantastic for multiple groups spending time doing all kinds of things. Lots of places to sit and eat, play cards, have conversation, or watch TV. The basement play area is awesome with ping pong, arcade, pool table, and foosball to pass the time. Every space is built with purpose. It was cold so we were not really able to much around the lake but there was so much to do inside and on the decks that we didn’t need it. Just a beautiful place, fully equipped with all you need! Loved it so much!!

Great Lake front home

We really enjoyed our stay. The host checked in with us before we arrived to see if we would need anything or if we had any questions. The only hard part about checking in was deciding which master suite we wanted to stay in! This home is perfect for anyone who wants to stay with multiple families/friends because it has multiple sleeping arrangements. Downstairs has a large game room along with a mini kitchen and additional washer & dryer. Our kids loved jumping off the 2 story boat house and the being able to keep our boat in the slip made getting on the water really easy and convenient. As for the location it was perfect for us. It is a 3 minute boat ride from Trident Marina and Trident Grill. We highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed get the 5 generation together at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out as well as be together. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and glasses. There were plenty of pots and pans that had been used a lot and some had to be rewashed before we could use them. One thing that did surprise me was the lack of life vest and or floats. Luckily we brought some because of having a couple small children. Overall it’s was a wonderful week.

We had a lovely week. The location of this place on the lake is great for both boating an wakeboarding/skiing, and the seclusion of their little inlet made it perfect for little ones swimming.There were many features about the house that we really appreciated... the kitchen seemed well stocked in the way of cooking utensils and pans. The bunk rooms were perfect for our many grandkids. The house was comfortable and provided a wonderful gathering space. My son declared the recliner sofa was his favorite thing of the whole trip! My grandkids really enjoyed all the various things you had to play with in the basement. The boat dock was spacious and nice and we spent most of our time down there. We had a few problems with the neighborhood wasps, but the owner was quick to respond to help us deal with the issue. The upstairs bedroom situation is unique with a room off of the large bedroom upstairs that holds a full and two twin sized beds. We would definitely recommend this owner to potential renters.As always, Smith Lake is amazing!!!
