"Daniel was a wonderful host and chef. The personal attention was a treat, as were the meals. The core of the place is Medieval (maybe 12th-14th century) yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. We loved our stay!"

"In general is a very nice property, as far as, comfort, breakfast, staff, the property by itself, and little details offered to the guests, such as daily fruit and liquor in the room. What we did not like was that the breakfast is offered from 9:00 to 11:00 am. If you need to leave early for any reason you will no have breakfast even if you paid for. The wi-fi is very weak and the A/C does not get cold enough. Overall was a nice stay. "

"Very cute. It had everything we needed. It is beside a church so you'll hear bells every 15 minutes or so. The walls also very thick so getting service and wifi can be difficult. Overall, the place was perfect for our needs. "

"The staff are a young man and his uncle. Very professional and helpful. The location is beautiful, quiet, and so peaceful. Breakfast is excellent with fresh ingredients and the bread is baked on site! My room had a gigantic whirlpool bathtub and great water pressure. The pool is great to cool off and just stare at the countryside. If you are looking for a quiet place that is near Girona but don't want to deal with the city when you want to decompress I highly recommend Mas Trobat!"

"We had a wondeful 3- night-stay in this amazing authentic Catalan house. We loved how all the details in the house represent traditions and history. Marta and Viktor were amazing making sure we had all we needed. Figueres is a 25 minute drive and other sights are also a short driving from the house. We absolutely recommend staying here and hopefully we will return one day."

"Wonderful stay at Els Masos d'en Coll. We arrived late and the friendly staff was so helpful, explaining the area to us in detail and giving us restaurant recommendations. "The hosts Helen and Joan are lovely and very helpful. This is a great location for exploring this lovely area. The swimming pool was great for a dip and the cottage is as described. Very peaceful and rural. We took a few days to adjust as it is rustic and local mossies liked to bite us! Fab restaurant La Trobada a few mins away and lovely walks nearby through Walnut orchards. Figueres(Dali Museum) and Costa Brava short drives away. We loved swimming in Banyoles lake. Go to Platya de La Rovina if...
