We hiking the WHW this was a lovely stop. Just one night. The staff was wonderful. The young man that checked us was very warm and welcoming.

Highly recommend

We broke up our journey to Skye by staying here for the night. We had evening meal snd breakfast which were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. We did book a double room but were given a twin but no big deal,the beds were very comfy so we didn’t mention it

Civilisation in a rural setting

This was a very nice overnight stay. The room was very small with the bathroom in a cupboard, but it all worked. The staff were very pleasant. Parking was across the road, but you could use the space in front of the hotel to unload and repack the car. The meals were good.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming to my dog. Although the decor in the room is older and basic the standard of cleanliness was impressive and made me so comfortable. It’s such a shame the current economic climate seems to have caused the hotel to close during lunch time as the bar is so pleasant it would have been lovely to stay for a little while. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone and will definitely return. To stress, the friendliness and cleanliness are so impressive!

Comfortable hotel near the lochs

The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable. Our thermostat was reading ‘error’ but there was a fan provided. The restaurant food was good with a large selection. There seemed to be a bit of tension between the serving staff with a bell going off over and over again (from the kitchen?). But our waitress who was there for dinner and then again for breakfast was very friendly. Great base for exploring the beautiful area.

Disappointing after long day

Hotel is older in need of repairs. Sheets not that clean, no extra blankets available and wall paper peeling off. Staff was nice, only hotel in area, restaurant was fair but overpriced.

Staff was nice, surface areas were clean but a lot of dust, mould and gunk buildup in the corners of the bathroom and on the curtains. Carpet in the room was really old and stained. Shower was ancient and hard to moderate the temperature but bonus points that it was hot. The place desperately needs an update or at the very least, a deep cleaning. It’s labelled as a 3 star but presents more like a 2 star.

The room was right above the extractor fan for the kitchen area and was extremely noisy until the kitchen closed. Not the nicest view The restaurant needs some updating. It lacks atmosphere and the 'ding-dong' bell that rings when food is ready, is a no go...

Very happy with our overnight stay. Clean and comfortable.Food in the restaurant and breakfast was really good with excellent choice. Our room was lovely with a big comfy bed and the bathroom shower was very roomy. The only downside was the heating was hard to control.

I love this hotel! Traveling through the UK we’ve stayed in a couple “iffy” places with bad water pressure and cramped rooms. This hotel room is really wonderful as is the staff and restaurant.
