"Room was nice and very clean but mattress on bed was older and not very comfortable "

"It took four different rooms to find one that didn't have this horrible extremely strong smell. We had to open the window in the first room and then our sinuses burned and started coughing bad. I complained to the front desk and they had me check out three other rooms and the last room was the one we were finally able to accept even the girl said it's very strong smell and thought maybe it was a room deodorizer but it was not. We will never be able to stay at a candlewood again because she said that all places have that smell terrible and I'm sure poisonous. "

"Clean rooms. Staff was constantly communicating and was very open to helping out. Window screens in my cabin werent working and they fixed it in the time frame I requested. You get a radio/bluetooth speakers, pans, pots, plates, spoons and fire wood. There is a conveniece store half a mile away that has veggies, rice, snacks etc in case you forgot something. Definitely one of the best places to disconnect and relax in nature"

"The room was mediocre. Expedia said it has a free breakfast and daybed or free futon. Both of those were false. No food, no extra amenities. It felt like it was a struggle to obtain 4 extra pillows. It is close to the Luray Caverns. It's cheap friendly, not business friendly. "

"We didn't use the gym. The restaurant in the lobby is so convenient and very good. We didn't have to leave once we got there. We like the little amenities such as real coffee cups in the room , not plastic or paper. We always stay at this hotel on our way to north carolina."
