"Really lovely staff! Nice bedroom. Spacious with a comfortable bed. Only negative is the power of the shower, but hey, it was still functional. We’d go back for the right price. It’s always great when front of house are so friendly :)"

"Check-in was really good, polite and helpful staff. Room was clean, spacious and beds we comfortable. Spa facilities were really good, not too busy and nice changing rooms. Only issue was breakfast, arrived 10am and there was not much left, no bowls, butter, juices, mugs, fresh fruit or pastries. Due to this we tried the cooked breakfast, looked good but my daughters sausage was uncooked in the middle. This was disapointing as she ended up just having beans on toast, not the treat she expected! Hotel all in all is lovely, just need maybe more staff to re stock at breakfast"

"The expression ’hidden gem’ suits this property. Great staff who genuinely make you feel welcome. Comfy bed where I got an Apple PB 100% sleep score. Breakfast in the new room is wonderful too. Bar upgrade is due later this year which will make the Dragon hands down the best place to stay in Crickhowell hands down"

"The guest rooms are in a linked building and therefore no noise and beautiful views out of the window. Had problems with the tv but was resolved, currently refurbishing rooms. It was a 'bike' night with bbq so revised menu but very helpful."

"Staff very helpful, food okay, little bit hard getting to my room due to old building, and I have been ill 🤒 climbing stairs struggled, but I had a nice stay , enjoyed the breakfast,"

"Amazing location. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but managed to find a spot. The pub in the hotel felt like a locals spot and was amazing to sit and watch a football match. The room was nice for the night we stayed."

"We had a great stay at the priory, room was a perfect size, I enjoyed a soak in the beautiful claw foot bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying there again"
