"The house was well maintained and the kitchen well stocked with equipment. The heated pool was large enough to swim properly in and the entertainment system and WiFi worked well. The beaches at Correlajo and El Contillo were beautiful and dog free! There are some lovely places to eat in the village if Lajeres too."

"My partner and I stayed for almost four weeks at Gilbert & Lyz's place and had a wonderful time. The property, which was exceptionally clean, is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and when we needed something Lyz was happy to supply it. The garden is as beautiful as in the photos, it is fairly secluded and we spend many hours sunning ourselves there. Lajares is a great little village. We discovered a very popular bakery near the supermarket where we got delicious bread, and a fabulous pizzeria 'Roje Tomate' near the children's playground in the village. Venturing further out, a number of beaches and towns are nearby (about 15-20 min car drive) and during February they are not very crowded either. Driving is a pure pleasure, the roads are empty and are in pristine condition. We found that almost always the people on Fuerteventura are friendly, relaxed, helpful and ready to chat. The entire atmosphere feels safe and mellow. Gilbert and Lyz are wonderful hosts, we were warmly welcomed and had opportunities to chat with them about life on Fuerteventura which left us feeling very connected to this island."

"We had a lovely few days in this villa over Xmas 2023. Contact with the owner was easy and pleasant at all times and she was quick to respond to questions. Pool area is a great place to spend the day, pool was warm enough in December. Everything you could need in the villa and a nice touch to leave essentials on arrival...including wine ;-) Thanks"

"We loved the outside space because there were different areas where you could choose between sun and shade. We also made good use of the pool. It felt very private but its elevated position gave a nice view of the landscape. The kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine in the bathroom was very useful. Small things such as opening the bedroom windows (but leaving the fly screens closed) and the fan helped to keep us cool when some of the nights were a bit sticky. We were glad we had a car because the distance into Lajares on a hot day would have been a little bit too far to walk. Some of the neighbours were a bit loud late at night but that was probably just the luck of the draw the week we stayed. There was a black and white cat with a loud meow who hung around a lot. He probably has a Spanish name but we called him Roger. We didn't feed him because my wife is allergic to pet hair and we didn't want to encourage him. Handy location for visiting Las Molinas at Villa Verde, Camel Tours (very close) by, El Cotillo and Corralejo."

"If you want a totally relaxing non commercialised break this is the only way to do it. Apartment is exactly as described, very clean and has everything you need. The pool is AMAZING, that's the only word I can give it, warm and so clean. The patio area is lovely with good shelter as well as a great suntrap. The view's from the garden are truly stunning. BBQ was great and was used by us many times. Cannot fault the place. The surrounding area is very quiet so no noisy bars blasting music till silly o'clock. The hosts Martin and Sue are very welcoming and very helpful and are a truly lovely couple. We would highly recommend this apartment if you want a chilled relaxed holiday"
