"My first stay at The Pullman, and I was really impressed. Everything was just right - the attention to detail was excellent. Things were in just right place and just worked. Just one example to illustrate the “getting things just right” point. I used the air conditioning - we’re in the middle of a hot spell. But unlike many hotel systems where the fan is noisy and all moisture is sucked out of the air, here it was subtle and silent. Quality place."

"Booked room facing the dock. Large spacious room with great views and handily on the same floor as reception and breakfast area (2nd). Particularly good as husband walks slowly with a stick. Lift close by too. Breakfast the usual buffet and queue by the toast machine. As it’s an old building there is no air conditioning but windows did open and room supplied with a portable fan to keep cool through some of the hottest days they’ve had.
