"Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. Fortunately, it did not become necessary because the folks that stayed on the property right on the water did not have a boat The only other thing I think is worth mentioning for people who have Boats is that your water inlet is directly in front of the dock and may be an obstruction...

"Honest review! Doc and his girlfriend are so sweet! They live in the apartment above the lake house and gave us a tour upon arrival. "Lovely property; lots of room for dogs to run if you want them off leash. House had minimal but adequate kitchen and bath accommodations. No shower which I wish I'd known beforehand. "The location was excellent, and the communication was excellent, but it lacked in kitchenware (no toaster, microwave, only one pot etc.). We let the owner know and hopefully this will be taken care of. It was also not very clean. Again, we let the owner know and they are addressing it. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The place was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller looking for a private getaway on a lake. Cozy but just the right size for a single traveller or a couple. Directions to the lakefront could have been a little clearer -- I went to the wrong dock initially! But that's more my fault than the host's. Loved hearing the loons at night and being able to chill on the front porch. I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"House is cute with a nice view. If you want to take advantage of the lake, bring paddle boards or other water sport toys. Unfortunately the house was not thoroughly clean. Upon walking in we found dog hair on the stairs and on two of the beds. The shower curtain liners were yellowed and filthy. A good housecleaner and a few bucks at Walmart can easily fix these things and would make a world of difference. Overall a good experience."
