"This historic building is delightfully charming offering spacious rooms. The water pressure and temperature in the shower is the best I have enjoyed in an older building. The location is near a multitude of restaurants serving diverse cuisine and within walking distance of many points of interest in DC. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'm booking with them again to see the Washington National Opera which now performs at the Lisner Auditorium."

"We were in D.C. for a long weekend getaway. We arrived at The Hamilton 3 hours before check-in time anticipating to have our luggage put in the luggage hold. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was available. The lobby area was beautiful, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size, and very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located - 1 block away from the closest Metro Station (McPherson Square) and blocks away from many of the areas we were heading."

"Initially placed in a room that had guests!!Then placed in one with less accommodation for my guests...Reminded asst manager that l had booked 2 queen size beds ...her answer is we don't have that, ck with yr third party carrier!!...later texted me while l was out to dinner and said she had one for me, and would offer me a bottle of champagne to compensate for a bad start to my birthday celebration... so it was a sour sweet experience!
