"We loved staying in this pretty annexe to Brigitte's home. It had everything we needed, and was the perfect base to explore the beautiful countryside of Provence. This apartment is on the outskirts of the small village of Murs, close to Gordes and Abbeye de Senanque. It is hidden amongst the trees in a very quiet residential area. "We were made to feel very welcome - greeted with a box of home grown delicious strawberries and cherries. The facilities were excellent - and so was the weather, so use of the swimming pool was much appreciated. Lagnes itself is a nice quiet village and we found it a good base for cycling to other places of interest."

"Apartment was great for me (solo senior traveller). Roomy, comfortable, clean. Everything (except oven) for extended stay. Good wifi. Loft bedroom not an issue for me (might be if you’re mobility challenged). A/C and heat (weather was hot and cool during my stay) worked great. Walking distance (<1.5 km) to everything in the old town, main bus station and train station. Timely, thorough communication with host. Thank you Laura, for a wonderful place to stay in Aix."

"The apartment had everything we need for a short stay. The photographs were clearly taken sometime ago and the place could do with some re-decoration. The bed was not at all comfortable for me and it is also worth noting that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment which may be an issue for some. The location is excellent and we had no problem with noise."

"This is a fabulous apartment that is even better than the pictures. It felt brand new, very clean, and well decorated. The kitchen is well appointed. Having air conditioning was a real plus. The view over the rooftops and of the local church spire was amazing. The location in town was perfect. This will definitely be our first choice when we return to Aix."

Jean Phillpe, the owner and manager was very helpful during our stay and always available to answer any questions. He was the next best thing to a personal concierge. "This rental was clean and spacious in a nice quiet hamlet about 3 km south of Rousillon with free parking. However at first it was difficult to find as the listing shows it in the center of Rousillon. Once we found it and met the owner, she was very responsive despite the fact that we spoke little French and she spoke little English.
