"If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is a rural paradise. This, our first visit to Andalusia, was in the first two weeks in April 2024. Every day was sunny and we enjoyed daytime temperatures in excess of 25C. Temperatures at night were as low as 12C and some form of heating may be needed. The property is run by a young couple who are extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay they generously provided us with their locally produced olive oil, eggs from their hens and asparagus....

"Wij zijn een week geweest met een paar vrienden en hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het enige waar je rekening moet houden is dat de grote supermarkten wat verder rijden zijn. Verder was het uitzicht prachtig en de omgeving erg rustgevend. Het verblijf in de villa was top, van alle gemakken voorzien en fijn informeel contact met de eigenaren. Zeker de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan."

"Our family of 5 enjoyed the space, kitchen, pool, and views. 4 single and a double bed and 2 bathrooms were good. We loved the private pool. We liked plenty of street parking. It is was an easy drive to Alhambra and grocery stores. Left on train which was also about 20 min."

"Superb villa in a stunning location, beautifully appointed with everything you could want. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of info regarding walks and cycle hire, and the property manager was also very friendly and full of useful info on local shops and ameneties etc. Am planning to return already!"

"This is a rural location about 25 minutes from Granada. There is a town about 5 minutes away with a couple large grocery stores. The house has a cozy cabin feel to it. If you want a rural location in the Granada area, this is where you should stay. Pros: Best host you will ever meet. She is very kind and friendly. 12/10 for hospitality. "After being in three overcrowded and tourist-choked cities in France (Paris) and Spain (Barcelona and Valencia), the “Venta del Alano” in Durcal (close to Granada) was an oasis in every way. "Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einfach und unkompliziert. Genauso auch der Check In/Check Out, da die Nachbarn im Obergeschoss wohnen und für die Betreuung vor Ort zuständig sind. Die Unterkunft hat ausgiebig Platz, leider ist die Einrichtung aber schon in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte entsprechend eine Auffrischung. Vor allem in der Küche mangelt es an Utensilien, da bspw. die Pfanne komplett verbogen ist und man nicht einmal Spiegeleier zubereiten kann ohne das diese verbrennen. An...
