"First time staying at a Homewood Suites (I'm usually a Marriot guy) and was very pleasantly surprised. The suite was a legitimate suite with good-sized rooms for bedroom and living space. Also equipped with a full kitchen (and full-sized fridge, thank you very much). Property was clean, well-maintained and all of the lights, ceiling fans, appliances were in working order. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Hot breakfast offered a decent selection of items and folks were attentive to making sure everything was topped up and stocked for guests to serve themselves. Great experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Room waa disgusting. The sheets had stains and the pillows and blankets had not been washed. So gross!!"

"The only issue we had. Is this hotel does not have a microwave. Which made it very hard to heat up stuff. They do have room service and what not. But if you’re staying on a budget make sure to take in account how you will eat on your trip. Other than that valet parking was great, location was great, staff was friendly. "

"The breakfast had a wide range of options in the buffet. The foods were delicious. The server Isaac was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable about Harrisburg and efficient. Parking was a snap and affordable. The front desk staff customer oriented. "

"We have stayed here before - best hotel in the area, very convenient and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was unacceptable this time. There weren’t even bananas. The options were limited. Was definitely disappointed in the breakfast options and would have packed food had we known it was going to be so limited. "

"Our check-in was warm and friendly. The Nigerian gentleman who helped us was fantastic and took time to converse and offer some suggestions for meals during our short stay. I feel as if he was our friend. How many times does that happen? We would stay here again to visit withhim again."

"We arrived to find the receptionist asleep and snoring away. It took multiple attempts to wake her us by ringing the bell and yelling out to her. She awoke and proceeded to give us keys to a room. When we got to the assigned room the door lock was broken and the ac was non functional. We asked for a different room with an operational door lock and was told that we were given keys to the wrong room. The second room was dirty and smelled terrible. It was a mix of wet dog and old curry. The pillows smelled unwashed and sweaty. The ac unit didn’t work and we had to deal with the terrible smell and heat through the night. Breakfast was lacking in the morning because it was only stocked once and never checked on or refilled. The ice machine on the third floor had chunks of black slime coming out with the ice. This place should be shut down and renovated. "
