"The room was nice and clean, albeit the trim on bathroom door was covered in something brown. We stayed here because of the good reviews and fair pricing, however it is a bit of a distance to Hershey Park (reason for stay) - roughly about an hour with traffic. There’s a local supermarket nearby, Giant. The hotel has an outdoor covered patio/ bbq for you to enjoy. The front desk was quick in checking us in. We left before breakfast, so cannot speak on the food. The room had a clean mini fridge and stocked coffee machine. We would stay here again."

"The room was fine, bed comfortable, but the floors are vinyl, and I heard the people above me in the evening, then again in the morning, at 5:50 AM! There's no elevator, and I did not care to carry my luggage up the stairs (at age 77). So, be wary of noisy (inconsiderate?) folks above, if you're on the ground floor!"

"This hotel has been nicely remodeled over the past few years. I love the outdoor pool. The only downside is the TV, which is oddly cumbersome for a channel surfer as their TV's change channels very slowly ?? But overall, the Penn Harris is a nice place to stay."

"The property had a lot of personality although I wish the website photos were updated since they no longer had the garden with the water features. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were upfront stating that the property was not disability friendly. It was challenging for my husband. Wish they had more handrails. The history here is amazing… loved it.. especially hearing some of the ghost stories."
