"It is an old property and has been maintained somewhat unfortunately both the Bar and the Restaurant were closed we also had a hard time checking in as there was no one on the property just a note with phone numbers to call. "Having a self-service breakfast was very helpful for my requirements. The property was very clean and the room was large and comfortable. The proprietors were quite helpful but I am not sure that it was clear before I arrived that they were not resident on site. I may have missed something somewhere. They however weren't too difficult to get hold of and were pretty responsive but it can still be a bit disconcerting when you first arrive. I was able to leave my luggage while I was out for the day until my return transport was due and that was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again."
