"Breakfast was not the greatest comparing to a holiday inn express, room cleanliness was average, hotel needs multiple upgrades throughout. This property has such potential to be great, it’s close but needs upgrades. The staff at the front desk were great, a the breakfast service was good. Thank you for a great visit, we would return to this property if the upgrades happened. "

"This was my immediate family’s first time in the Outer Banks. There were 8 adults and 5 kids, ages 10 and under. There was more than enough room for all of us so we were not on top of each other. There is something for everyone to do at the house. There is a pool, hot tub and movie theater. Upstairs in the front room, in a cabinet, there were games and books for the kids. When you went outside, under the main stairs there are a ton of outdoor toys for the sand. It has buckets, boogie boards, shovels, and all the stuff you need to play in the sand. It has chairs to take to the beach, which is just across the street. The owner has communicated every time I reached out. He has even gone above and beyond, mailing us back my nephews favorite elephant “stuffie” he accidentally left behind! I truly from the bottom of my heart have nothing negative to say. It was an amazing vacation. Ooooh and did I mention five out of the seven days we were there the wild horses were either on our property or across the street? And we saw an eagle, and a baby shark that got beached. All the people helped with sticks to get it back into the water. Simply a magical vacation! "

The views were amazing and we were surprised we were able to see some horses out here during the winter! The initial drive in was intense if your new to beach driving, which we were, but after the first day we were going back and forth on that sand non-stop! James was an amazing host and responded quickly to our questions. We hope to come back and stay again, this was an amazing trip!!"
