"We really loved this property. Location: it is a little out of the town, not by much but it is a steep hill to climb, so if you don't like a bit of a walk this is not the place for you. It has 2 access points, 1 by vehicle and 1 by foot. We read reviews about the vehicle access being concerning if you didnt have a 4v4. We had a Yaris and managed just fine. "Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. "Very cool place with a very elevated view over Santa Teresa. A giant one-bedroom setup with the bathroom behind the bed means this is really only for couples comfortable with that setup. Check-in was coordinated over WhatsApp and we were greeted upon arrival. Our rental car made it up the steep driveway on the second attempt and there's a large flight of stairs, so you should feel comfortable climbing to get here. "The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."
