This hotel was close to everything; stores, restaurants, etc. The rooms were ample and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
Our experience was just okay. I would not stay here again. No glasses provided in the room, the room had a bad odor, just an okay experience for a short stay. Breakfast was a 5/10.
Nice hotel, Luiyi, very friendly staff helping us finding nice tour and even a tasty restaurant , close to bus station too, very recommended place to stay…
Very nice hotel. Staff was great. Location was perfect for a one night stay before heading to the airport. Close enough to walk to the historic district.
Warari is a safe place. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is delicious . Property is clean . There is a great variety of restaurants near within walking distance closed to the Plaza de armas. (10 minutes walking distance).
A good local Peruvian hotel. Great price, nice rooms, showers can be a little cold sometimes but it’s a great little hotel. My go to when I’m in Cusco for work.
This property doesn’t offer laundry nor free airport shuttle. It does have a laundry next door but isn’t administered by the hotel.
Breakfast was nice although options were limited. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful.
I was happy with my 2-night stay there. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were nice and helpful. I'd stay there again. It's a pleasant walk to the Plaza de Armas and other things to see in Cusco.
This is a classic hotel in Cusco, very well maintained in my opinion, and very affordable to stay while visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco. Luiyi and Yanet from front desk did an excellent job with me, taking care of all details. I felt safe all time there and around. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are lot of them around very close. They have breakfast included, and if you, as I did, have to leave early, they provide a breakfast box to go as a courtesy. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone arriving in Cusco for any reason.
I'm really glad I stayed here. For the money, I haven't had quite the space and the service that I received with Warari. It's not a modern high-design hotel, but the design quality and ammenities are really more than the price inidcates. As for the distance from the historic centre, it's on the outside and within 20min walk of just about anythink I needed.

Great until we didn’t have running water
Started off great. The rooms are very clean (our most important feature) and close to what we needed with friendly staff. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but worked. We stayed two nights. On our second night, we get back to the hotel about 10 pm for a very early wake up (3:30 am) and realize there is no running water. We go down to the front desk 3 times and eventually have running water about 11pm, though it takes 20 min for my shower to get lukewarm. We then lose running water sometime throughout the night and do not have it from at least 3am on. And the front desk worker had a very “oh well” attitude about it. I do not recommend staying here; the cleanliness does not outweigh the lack of running water (no shower, no flushing the toilet, no sink).
First room was in front, facing the road. There were no black out curtains and it was very lit at night. Front desk staff immediately offered to move us to inside room, which was better. However, the only window view was of a narrow atrium. The breakfast was okay. The people were very nice. It was a hike to Plaza de Armas, but very doable.
They were so accommodating. My friend left a day early and they were great holding the room for me when I was out on a trip near Cusco! My one complaint was that there was no water in the hotel. I had to remember to buy some each night.

The previous reviewers must have lied 😔
Firstly, most misleading reviews ever.
The staff and location are the only redeeming qualities if any. It's really close to the PeruRail station and a short walk to the square and tons of food options. The staff were super friendly and kind. They were easy to talk to and caring. Oh and they gave me a boxed breakfast for my early morning adventures.
Maybe the hotel was great in the past, I didn't get that experience. The first room I got had a strong sulphur/sewage smell and a moldly bathroom. I got to change to a better room but there was no working heat and the hot water in the shower took about 15 - 20 minutes to flow if it flowed at all. The toilet as seemed to leak so I had to use paper to stop it flowing all over the bathroom.
The breakfast was disappointing, not many options, cold, atleast it included fruits. I'd suggest they do some maintenance. The walls could do with some paint and if they fix the heater they could save a lot of water and money and be actually eco friendly.
I'm wondering if Cusco has any good budget options since this seemed to be the best and was disappointing so how bad could the other hotels be?
