"This was a perfect basecamp for all the activities and sights in the area. We chose this location primarily for it's proximity to the Royal Portrush GC. It was a beautiful and mere 25 min. car ride to the GC, not to mention close proximity to other popular attractions such as the Dunluce Castle, Giants' Causeway, and rope bridge.The views from the "pods" are amazing and very serene. "We LOVED staying at Shepherd’s Rest! Mary was so helpful and hospitable. She made sure that we were comfortable and had all the information needed for our stay and our activities in the area. The hut itself was very clean and comfortably accommodated 4 of us. The property and surrounding area is beautiful- photos do not do it justice. "This was such a surprise find on our trip to Ireland. Perched on top of a hill overlooking the rolling hills of Ballycastle and the ocean. You could not find a better view for dinner. Our room was nice and quiet, meals were great and easy to reserve. Staff was exceptional. "
