Tucked in a beautiful valley, with beautiful views right from the front porch! General Custer and the 7th Cavalry camped in this valley, campground property included in 1874. We are less than a mile to the West entrance to Custer State Park, and about half hour to Mount Rushmore.The Gold Valley Camp Cabin #3 is conveniently located close to a variety of restaurants, art galleries, and unique shops. The Mickelson Trail a 109 mile long trail that contains more than 100 converted railroad bridges and 4 rock tunnels runs on the edge of the property. Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park are within 20 miles of the cabin. Our guests may also enjoy other activities in the area including fishing, sightseeing, and hunting.
