Majestic Cabin near Mount Rushmore

  • Leave the busy world behind and become part of the wildlife and natural surroundings this unique lodge has to offer. All the rooms feature several windows so you can enjoy the views of granite outcroppings and majestic trees in every direction. The great room has 14 foot ceilings, a giant wood burning fireplace and floor to ceiling windows on three sides. The lodge offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as numerous household amenities. This lodge is located only miles from Mount Rushmore!

Beautiful

This is our second year at the Glass Lodge and it was just as spectacular as last year. The Glass Lodge has all the amenities and a perfect location. We can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful place to stay in the area! The home is quiet, located in a tucked-away area within easy driving distance of all major attractions in the area. The home was immaculate throughout and filled with quality furnishings that accentuated the luxurious rustic theme. The host was very responsive to a few questions prior to our visit and provided more than enough supplies for the week. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for chef-style meal preparation and the general layout of primary suite and other bedrooms separated by the common space provided plenty of space to gather or for alone time. The pictures provide a small glimpse of the magnificence of the home. Overall, a true lodging extraordinaire in an incredibly beautiful natural setting!

Glass lodge beautiful serene and amazing place to stay

My family stayed for a week at the glass lodge. It is a beautiful house nestled in the black hills. It was so quiet that we were amazed to only hear the breeze in the trees and the birds most of the day. It’s so close to the iron road and Mount Rushmore that we had awesome drives in the hills every day. We slept soundly and enjoyed family time each night playing games and enjoying the landscape around us. We would love to visit again and stay here for another peaceful week.
