"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Anytime we needed extra pillows or blankets there were provided promptly. We did not eat breakfast; we only had coffee from the restaurant. From outside the hotel is beautiful and classic New Orleans. Once you look at it closely, its in desperate need of repair. There is rotting siding, peeling paint, and banisters holding on by a thread. The room was fine and clean for the most part. There was a lot of trash under the pullout sofa bed, which was not comfortable to sleep on. If the cushions were softer, it would have been better. We asked for several blankets to put on top to make it softer. Several things in the room were really jankey and some were broken. This place could be stunning if someone were to put some love into keeping up with deferred maintenance, but sadly, they obviously don't care. The setup is really cool with the courtyard and seating outside, its charming and cozy. With all that, I would stay again due to the location and price. "

"the parking lot was a little sketchy but it was included with the stay, so just make sure you lock your car. one of the elevators is slower and shakier than the other, so if you have anxiety about elevators falling, just know one of them may activate it. the photos make it look like it will have a city view, but in reality, you either face a brick wall with the hospital and parking garage next door or looking over into a neighborhood with some taller buildings in the back; not quite the picturesque view. beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and it wasn't super noisy. 15 minute Uber to the French Quarter. Amazon and Door Dash deliveries are very convenient and the front desk staff are very personable. would stay here again :)"
