"The employees are very nice and the property is tucked away from the bustle of St Charles with easy access to streetcars right in front of building. Skip the breakfast. Room was clean...ish...but not filthy. No evidence of bugs which is ama,ing in New Orleans in Aug. Kitty cats on property keep critters away. Cute. Safe. Clean."

"Our stays at the Alder are always excellent. We love this place. Super reasonably priced with a few parking amenity you can't get anywhere else in New Orleans. Staff is always amazing. Perfect location uptown for us since my daughter lives only blocks away. Super highly recommend unless you're looking to spend much more money and stay at a high end hotel. As far a bang for your buck it can't be beat. The parking alone saves you $60 a night."
