We could not have been happier with our villa. It's private and spacious with views to die for. You will need a rental car but anything you need can be arranged by the kind caretakers and owner. We could have stayed another week. Time literally stopped.
The entire stay was amazing. The house is beautiful with fantastic reviews. The children and adults had a great time at the pool. The beds are super comfortable. The property managers are very responsive and helpful in booking excursions. The location is great and feels very private. We all had a great time at the property.
I can't say enough positive things about Malaqereqere Villas! It was a great ton of space for our family of 5, large kitchen and space away from others. Watching the sun rise and set from the dining area and outside patio was the best. Kids swam in the pool daily. Kelera even helped our sun shuck a coconut he found on the ground. We found the location to be great but without a car it could be difficult. It made for the perfect home base for 12 days of relaxation and adventure. Already planning our next trip!
The property is fantastic! The island is wonderful. The people are amazing.
Every day was a new adventure. Snorkeling, hiking, eating meeting, new people and touring the villages. This is the rainier season, and yet the majority of our days were warm and dry. Rain mostly at night for us. Our host’s communication was great and our on-site hosts were charming and accommodating.
We had a great week in the villa that was perfect for our group. Facilities and pool were well used and appreciated the friendly and thorough service from Keleti and Rusi.
We did a lot of 2alking and met local village people who were very helpful. The high tide was not in our favour for swimming but got to Other beaches and malamala island.
Great sunsets...
Would gladely recommend.

We were five ladies getting together from Australia and North America. This was the perfect place for us. We were able to cook together and hang out to enjoy catching up over drinks in a beautiful setting. Lots of time spent in the warm and lovely pool as well as sitting outside to enjoy the waves breaking on the coral reefs in the distance. We had everything we needed including a small BBQ to grill our meats and veggies. The tours suggested in the Welcome Package were fantastic and I highly recommend reading this early and booking tours like EcoTrax months in advance. This was my favourite tour. Highly recommend this Villa.
A practical feature of this place that makes it convenient for larger groups of people is that one bathroom is separated into a room with the toilet, one bathroom with the sink and counter and one bathroom with a shower. So in effect three different people can do that have to if needed. There were 6 of us and we were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, the place is super clean, and there are large bay windows with amazing views of the water. I only wsh there were screens on the doors so we can leave them open. Bridget is the person I communicated with. The information she provided formed the foundation of our time in Coral Coast. We used the drivers she recommended and a lot of other info. As we had never been to Fiji I really appreciated the prompt and helpful responses.
We had a lovely time at the villas. We were four adults, a two year old and an infant. The villa was really large, a good kitchen and facilities. The pool was perfect and we almost always had it to ourselves with only one other group staying. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, a walk along the old sugar cane railway and dinner out at The Junction restaurant. Rusi and Kelera were always helpful and communication was easy. You have to be very vigilant with small children as the pool is deep and unfenced and there is small cliff edge at the front of the property (with some bushes in front) but I think this is the case at most resorts etc with pools. This would be an amazing place if you had a big group and wanted to rent multiple villas! We used Coral Coast transfers to and from the airport and they were good value.
We didn’t really know if the property would live up to the photos - but we were amazed that it was even better !! The managers on site are lovely, baking cookies for my grandchildren as well. Nothing was too much trouble.
The properties are very well equipped and an afternoon dip in the pool was something we did everyday. There isn’t a shallow end in the pool so little ones will need to be supervised closely, but they managed to perfect their “bombs” with us !
The beach directly in front of the property is a little muddy, but a lovely beach can be found by walking around the headland. We also explored local beaches which were stunning and in many cases we were the only people on them.
Would totally recommend
The location was perfect for us. Near the activities in Sigatoka as well as Natandola area. The accommodations were very nice. Be aware that the upstairs bathroom only has a tub, but that there is a shower downstairs in the laundry room. The view was magnificent. The air conditioning in both bedrooms was more than adequate for October. We only used the pool once. It was clean. Access to the beach was relatively easy visa the staircase and made for a nice walk at sunset. There are many restaurants where you can eat or get take out in Sigatoka. Highly recommend Shivas. It's across from the open air market and up a set of stairs. Not easy to spot from the street. We were able to buy groceries at the supermarket. There is a take out restaurant to the left of that with many choices including Chinese food.
Our accommodations were awesome and the property managers were even better. So friendly and wonderful. Just what you want when you gather family from all over together.

This place is perfect for families! 3 large bedrooms 3 bathrooms. Well laid out and beautiful. Great swimming pool (shared with 3 other villas) nicely landscaped and a great ocean view.
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at a villa on this property. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The caretakers of the property were fantastic, and my communication with Bridget was excellent. I would highly recommend this villa to those seeking to stay in Fiji.
We had an exceptional time here. The on-site managers were attentive but not intrusive. Communication with the property owner was easy. The location and unit is beautiful. A full stock of supplies made the stay very homely. So peaceful. We will be back.
We just spent five unforgettable nights at Malaqereqere Villas, and can’t wait to go back! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the immaculate grounds and pristine villas, a peaceful, luxurious escape set against the stunning backdrop of Fiji’s Coral Coast. What is it? We will come and cuddle you later in bed but not right now. We have jobs to do.But what truly set this stay apart was the snorkeling: some of the best marine life we've ever experienced was just a short and scenic walk away. The coral is a bit hammered from the local fishermen but there are thousands of fish! Starting from the sugarcane railway, veer left, keep going until the path becomes overgrown, then take the right track down to the beach. From there, walk the point and snorkel toward the island. After navigating a chilly, murky trench, you’ll emerge into an amazing reef alive with fish. A warm current will carry you gently back along the reef, just go with the flow and enjoy the ride before returning for another round! One small caveat: there was noticeable rubbish on the beach, a wider issue in Fiji, unfortunately, but it didn’t overshadow the overall beauty of our stay (though it’s worth being aware of). From dusk to dawn, the property is alive with fascinating wildlife. We were delighted to spot: frogs and small geckos, coconut crabs, flying foxes gliding overhead, their silhouettes hauntingly beautiful at twilight. And the occasional mongoose.
