"Very nice stay, would return. Floorboards in room a bit creaky and was worried about the noise I was making in the room below. A few stains on bedding, but overall a really relaxing stay and fantastic breakfast."

"We were attracted to Ardwyn House after reading the positive reviews. We loved our stay and you wont be dissapointed if you stay, we highly recommend it. Some plus points... clean, fantastic breakfast options, afternoon tea/coffee and delicious cake, brilliant shower, duvet and pillows as comfy as home (I bring a pillow in the car and never used it.) We stayed to drive Elan Valley and it was just the perfect drive away. The town is walkable for food and shop, the train station is also just down the road if needed. Ample parking, we stayed for 3 nights and would stay again in a heartbeat. Lovley place and lovley owners."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mike and Jill were great hosts and their beautiful dog Sophie made our break. Breakfasts were superb... Visited Aberglasney and Llansteffan and had a wonderful break. Food in the Castle was very pleasant as was the ice cream shop round the corner...."

"What a quiet and beautiful spot to escape to! We had a lovely time at Owl Barn. The barn is modern, comfortable and clean, set upon a hill accessed only via narrow, windy country lanes. We often found ourselves sharing the lane with 'escapees', some of the sheep must have preferred the anticipated taste of the neighbouring fields and managed somehow to wangle their way through the barbed wire fences to then only find themselves unable to 'break in' to the lush field opposite..we enjoyed this entertainment which only added to the experience, but drivers be aware of narrow roads with occasional woolly obstacles. A truly beautiful, remote spot, set amongst endless rolling hills with far reaching views of the Welsh countryside. Jon was the perfect discrete host, providing lots of information on the area, available when needed but otherwise leaving us alone to enjoy the seclusion."
