House for 10 people near the Utah Beach landing site, 15 minutes from the ocean,

"The place was better than expected! Larger than we thought and more than what we needed. The rooms were all quite large with their own bathrooms and showers - everyone reported comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cutlery. The residence is large enough to easily house a large family or multiple families. We played a couple games of pool and watched tv on the multiple tv sets. There is a small washing machine but no dryer but there are two drying racks. The location was great for our WW2 trip - right in the heart of things with not too much driving. We hit St Michel’s Abbey one day, Utah/Omaha the next and then Juno and the British beaches the last. There is a grocery store within a short drive as well as an excellent bakery. Only thing to maybe mention was the lack of some everyday supplies such as hand soap. What we didn’t have was easily picked up at the store the next day. If you are new to Europe possibly have her show you how to lock and unlock the front door! LolDelphine was a great host, and even helped us book a restaurant one night. The homemade plum jam was a nice surprise and was very good!Thanks for being a wonderful host!"

"Perfect, perfect, perfect. We stayed here one night and wish we had stayed longer. The best place to stay if you plan to visit any ww2 sites in Normandy. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated...not over the top. The bathrooms were modern and spotlessly clean as were the bedrooms, the bedding was really good quality and most important for us the mattress was super comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. Lots of choice to cater for everyone and freshly made. Felt like we were eating in a museum. The location is right near Angloville au Plain and St Mere Eglise but so quiet at night. Pitch black outside perfect for stargazing in the french summer. The host is Dutch so spoke perfect English and fluent French amongst other languages which is refreshing for the area. Would definitely recommend. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Please stay here rather than a hotel chain for that personal touch, local knowledge and the option for tours of the local area. Thank you so much!!!"

"We stayed during the DDay remembrance , the house was very central to all of our activities. There is a bakery a very short drive away. The house is in a very quiet community. There is a very nice patio area, unfortunately it was very windy with rain or pop up showers for most of the time we were there. We were able to cook several meals. The WiFi was a little spotty some days it worked and didn’t, that was our only negative issue. The host came by to say hello and check on us as we had contactless check in."
