"The staff were amazing, the complimentary breakfast was great to get our day started without delay, having laundry available definitely helped us the day prior to our departure, and the area around the hotel has a lot to explore as well being 10 minutes away from a trains station that even connects to Narita Airport. "Stayed here 5 nights. The onsen was great and the free midnight ramen was a nice touch — definitely the highlights. The room was quite small, which is expected in Tokyo, but not being able to open a window made it feel stuffy and uncomfortable at times. Breakfast was not worth the 2,000 yen per person, which is why I cancelled it after the first day. Also worth noting for international travelers — if you make changes to your booking, currency exchange differences on refunds and recharges will leave you paying more overall, which was frustrating. After I cancelled my breakfast, I ended up paying much more than if I haven't made any changes. The staff does not speak English but they are polite and use a portable translator, so you can get by. Overall, decent stay for the amenities, but a few things would make me think twice before booking again."

"We did not have breakfast there and we're not offered it as option. We were pretty disappointed with the noise due to amount of shopping stores nearby and lots of highway and train station. The places to explore nearby were not as pleasant in comparison to other areas of Tokyo we stayed. The Ueno park was beautiful . Overall we only stayed for a day and the staff were nice but it was lacking the amenities compared to other hotels and not as clean or renovated. The room and bathroom were small and the toilet barely flushed and somehow it was still the most expensive room during our trip. "
