"We are a family of 3. My child flew in separately. When we booked this property, the selected room was advertised as 2 large twin beds and able to sleep for 4. However, when we got there, we were forced to upgrade and paid daily upgrade room fee and another service charge, we were told that the room was for two people only. We had no choice but to accepted the fees. It was outrageous to charge two separate fees when we paid the service fees already on the initial booking. Then the charging daily upgrade fee was being excessive. It should have been a one time fee. Also, the bathroom was so tiny. You could barely moved around there. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work well. The room became stuffy at night. "

"Hotel is close to the Ryogoku train station , ate at the cafes close by. There was not much interaction with staff, but very clean! All amenities provided, but rooms are small. "

"Beautiful and luxurious feeling hotel in a central location within walking distance to many of Asakusa’s highlights. We chose to include the breakfast buffet when we booked and it was top notch! Also the rooms are bigger than your average Japanese hotel, spacious bathrooms & closets and the views are incredible. "

"We did not have breakfast there and we're not offered it as option. We were pretty disappointed with the noise due to amount of shopping stores nearby and lots of highway and train station. The places to explore nearby were not as pleasant in comparison to other areas of Tokyo we stayed. The Ueno park was beautiful . Overall we only stayed for a day and the staff were nice but it was lacking the amenities compared to other hotels and not as clean or renovated. The room and bathroom were small and the toilet barely flushed and somehow it was still the most expensive room during our trip. "

"First place we stayed in Tokyo so as a Westerner it was a bit of a shock with how small the room was. 4hangers on the wall. No counter space in the bathroom. A small desk. You had to step up to the bathroom and we couldn’t figure out the lighting. It was either all on or all off? BUT, the location was wonderful for an authentic feel for local Tokyo living. The room was super quiet, the beds were so comfy and the included spa is my dream amenity. I want to go back just for that. Very friendly staff although the language barrier was hard to get information but they tried so sweetly! If we come back to Tokyo we WILL stay here."
