Clean room, clean bathroom, room was pretty, the hotel in general was very nice, clean, the relaxation lounge was a great spot to chill after walking all day, especially since the room is a little tight. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and had no issue getting us checked in and out. Rooms were always cleaned everyday nicely. Spot was close to many nice restaurants like the Brisk Stand and many others.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Niwa Tokyo! The hotel strikes a wonderful balance between traditional Japanese design and modern comfort. The peaceful gardens, thoughtful details, and calming atmosphere made it such a special place to come back to after long days exploring Tokyo. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing it felt despite being in such a busy city. It was a fantastic introduction to Japanese hospitality and a wonderful home base for our first trip to Japan together. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

As our first stay in Tokyo, the hotel was strategically positioned for an easy walk for a baseball game at Tokyo Dome. It was an easy (mostly flat) walk to the JR LINE and Suidobashi stations. From there we toured a lot of Tokyo very easily. The rooms and staff were great and very welcoming after a very long flight.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. Enormous comfortable bed in my room (I’m 6ft2 and felt small). Relaxing ambiance. Good washing machine area. The Japanese breakfast might be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Loads to do nearby and easy transport links. Staff were great. Stay here - you won’t regret it. Only two things I note for improvement is a second coffee machine at breakfast (there was always a queue for coffee) and some weights to lift for the fitness room (good cardio equipment and a weights bench but no weights).

We stayed 4 nights and we enjoyed our stayed. The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the metro/train station. We didn’t try the breakfast but we had dinner one night and it was very good. The laundry and the massage chairs were a nice touch. The relaxing room and the Zen garden are very well maintained. Really happy with our staying!
