This is in no way a negative reflection on the host. We received the check in process and house rules. It stated that there was a “quiet time “ to be observed from 10pm to 8am and not to park on the street, we were the only ones in the neighborhood to respect this. The street was lined with cars, lots of party’s going well into the morning hours and the “nice park across the street “ was a late night hang out (be ready for a heavy dose of dope smoke) and frequented by the homeless. The house was just as advertised very nice and clean. The only issue with the house is that the mattress were very hard and the dryer did not work well. The issue is the neighborhood, it was not a good area. I messaged the host to let them know we were the only ones following the quiet time rules to see how they would respond and they just said thanks for respecting the rules, so they may not be aware of the neighborhood. Definitely not what we expected.
