There were roaches in the room and on the bed when I woke up and there was pee on the toilet seat before I had went in there! The Staff was really nice!! So I’m still thankful for the stay! Just concerned me it hadn’t been cleaned especially with the toilet seat having stuff on it!

There is a difference between inexpensive and cheap. The room was low priced but in need of repair. The entire building is old and needs a remodel. The "Red Roof" isn't so red anymore. On the bright side, the Staff was friendly.

Redroof hotel

The Red Roof in Plano has an amazing staff that is very accommodating and very empathetic. They are on top of your jobs and they do it well and then make moves and try to help as best they can for people who might be a little short or need a little extra they are more than willing to give and help so go stay there

I was happy to find a room on a last minute. Friendly staff, clean room that reaked of cigarettes. But nothing some aerosols can't fix. Next to a Dennys. 👍

No bed bugs, the shower had hot water, and the toilet worked. Not pretty but no health hazards and it was comfortable. There was a homeless guy asleep in the hallway outside the rooms.

The staff was friendly. Someone remoped the room and sprayed air freshner when I asked. Also, it was easy to get my deposit back, which I needed at the time. The people there wer friendly and socialble, which made for a unique experience.

The people here are extremely accommodating and very fair. Basically meaning a lot of BS about dogs or people or smoking simple little things like that little stuff that helps but the staff here is awesome your rooms are okay but most don't have all the stuff but I would still give them five stars

We love to stay at Red Roof but this one was awful. Very run down, room was not clean, had to wear shoes unless in bed, did not feel safe, no grass area for the dog, very noisy, all around the worst experience I have ever had at a Rex Roof.

Scary

Pictures are misleading, the area and people are very sketchy and we did not feel safe during our stay. Air conditioning works but is very noisy and turns on and off at random during the middle of the night, scaring us.

Motel & parking lot are a little rundown. Beds were nice. TV viewing angle could not be adjusted (TV mounted solid on wall). TV channel selection was pretty good. Room and bath were OK, but could use some paint/nicer color. Heat/AC unit worked well. Bathroom had no counter space. Bathroom door would not close. Microwave in bad condition. Room key/locks worked well.

Don’t even rent a room here.

We are a couple that was stopping in this area for a halfway point from traveling all day. For the price, the room was pretty much what we expected. We needed a shower and bed to sleep in. That’s it. As for rest and relaxing….. there was NONE! Several kids were out side our door for hours playing and running around with balls. We saw one of the kids throw the ball and hit the room across from ours, ac unit. I opened our room door once and one child was running from another one and ran into our room door as I walked out of the room. We witnessed a couple of kids looking in car windows, including my own car. It seemed to be more people living at this place than staying for anything else. Again, with this place, you get what you paid for.
