"My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. "The flat was perfect with new appliances and fittings. It was spacious, light and clean. The staff on duty during check in were helpful, efficient and friendly. As people in their mid sixties who need reading glasses, my husband and I struggled to open all the doors with the code provided. Standing outside in the dark trying to punch in the code was a hassle every time. While doing this we met two other couples our age having trouble doing the same thing. I find a key card much easier.
