"What a spectacular place on so many levels! Our “cabin” was as luxurious as one can get with high end everything including heated floors, jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, and a wall of glass overlooking the snow covered woods. The breakfast included was amazingly delicious and diverse with the 2 lovely kitchen staff going above and beyond to offer me gluten free options such as a decadent chocolate brownie, muffins and French toast. Dinner at their Homestead restaurant was a treat also. To top it all off, the acres of grounds were beautiful to behold. My husband and I snowshoed around their lake which was peaceful and fun. They provided the snowshoes. This weekend vacation at the Eldred Preserve was possibly our best weekend getaway ever! And we have had many! Bravo and well done to everyone there!"

"Hotel Wayne is a very charming hotel with a very homy feel. It’s got a very comfortable little restaurant and bar downstairs. It’s one of the oldest buildings in the town and has a lot of history to it, including some ghost apparently. It doesn’t have the most modern amenities and conveniences, but it’s clean and well-maintained and in the best possible location close to everything downtown. Despite quirks like having to turn the TV on by pushing a button on the back of the TV, having to control the room temperature by twisting a knob on a baseboard heater, and having to be very careful in adjusting the shower water temperature because the temperature jumps or drops very quickly with just a slight twist of the knob, I would still much prefer to stay here then I would at some bland corporate cookie cutter hotel. "

"Very clean and pleasant stay. Cabin descriptions and appearance are exactly as mentioned online. We couldnt have dreamt for a better time away. Host sent very accurate check in and check out instructions and reached out to ask if we needed bundles of wood for the fireplace and pit. 10/10"
