"It was delightful to nestle-in at Postgate Barn. Mark and Moya were perfectly welcoming and gracious.This thoughtfully appointed country retreat is charming, with perfect accommodations for two couples. Attention to detail gives it lots of comfort and character. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the moors, lovely sitting areas to enjoy the morning sun, daily hikes along the ridge and wine in the evenings.It offers easy access for day trips to local villages coastal towns. Thanks for creating such a warm and precious retreat. Our stay has been wonderful. We hope to come again!"

"The flat is in a good spot and is well decorated and airy but there was no dining table for a family of five so we had to eat our dinners off our laps and as there were only 2 small sofas, one of us had to sit on the floor. The main bedroom did not have a curtain or shutters and looked out to the high street so although the bed was comfy, we woke up at dawn every day. The bunk bed was squeaky and inadequate for our teens. The kitchen was big and airy but didn’t have a chopping board and no washing machine which is a bit remiss. The inner front door at the top of the stairs wasn’t attached to the hinges properly which was probs a bit dangerous. We were given a code to the yard downstairs which clearly upsets the man who lives there (he was in a bit of a rage) and should not be used imo… It wasn’t a complete write off as the village is incredibly friendly and has lots of pubs. The owners were very communicative before the hols but not very helpful re: curtains etc after we got there…We tend to adapt to things like this quite well but no tables and not enough chairs was a bit of a pain tbh"

"Cosy clean cottage with everything you need. Lovely village and some nice walks. Lovely and cool inside during the hot weather. The only downside was i thought from the photos that the garden was fully enclosed but there was a big hole in the wall leading onto the road which meant we couldn’t let our two small dogs loose, however we did mange to temporarily block it up with garden items for our stay! It’s also worth noting that the neighbour shares access through the garden which we didn’t realise from the listing. But all in all a lovely place to stay "
