"Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are lovely, beds amazingly comfortable and huge! Staff were fantastic, Alexandra and Jack were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast Benedict was delicious and the hotel and dining room very tasteful. Even the music played was good. I cannot fault this place and will most definitely recommend it to anyone going to Canterbury. Really, really excellent."

"Great service from the staff! Stayed in the single room. Comfy bed - I just lay on top due to the heatwave. There was a fan in the room but it was loud and not very effective, this should be upgraded. Even with the windows wide open, the wind didn't really come in. It would've been a more comfortable stay if it wasn't during a heatwave. Good shower and bathroom didn't fog up. Mirror on the back of the bathroom door rather than above the sink is a bit odd but get used to it quickly. Quiet location, even on a Friday night. Didn't hear the nightclub that was a couple of streets away. Close to Canterbury East train station. I'd stay here again, hopefully in cooler weather!"

"Excellent location; just a short 10-minute walk from Canterbury's gardens, shops and historic buildings, and the lady at reception kindly gave us directions and a map of Canterbury, which came in very handy. All of the staff were super-friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant (including breakfast) was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Bring a healthy appetite with you, you'll need it! A couple of slight idiosyncrasies with the bathroom, but nothing worthy of knocking a star off the review. We've already recommended the Victoria to others, and we'll definitely be back."

"I would very highly recommend The Millers Arms for anyone that is staying in Canterbury. In fact I would highly recommend staying even if you were visiting other places close to Canterbury. Our stay was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was also fantastic, and we just had an amazing time all-round. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area."

"The Lodge was so surprising. Being on the Cathedral grounds, it evokes a sense of tranquility and calm. That feeling does not extend past the walls of the ground. The breakfasts were amazing. The staff was most accommodating. Everything was within the radius of the Lodge and walking to places was easy. The only thing that disappointed was that the standard double room has a tiny bed which was caused a snug bed-share challenge. It worked out. We're glad we chose that accommodation."

"Be careful, it’s easy to accidentally book a room with SHARED bathroom facilities! This place is so charming but the rooms facing the main street are LOUD with young men yelling well until 11pm or so. Getting to the hotel can be tricky as well. Need to go past bollards into the pedestrian zone. No a/c no elevator and the parking lot is public and a few blocks away but reasonable. Breakfast is minimal, no eggs…"
