"This charming place was perfect for our one night stay on our drive through France. Peaceful and quiet, located in a small village. Pet friendly and amazing breakfast of fresh warm breads, eggs, yogurt, cheese, fruit and much more. We especially enjoyed the local “raisin juice”. We stayed on a Sunday so the restaurant was not open for dinner, but I am sure it is excellent, we will try it next time."

"This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian 'all you can eat' buffet which was excellent and just 500m away. It was easy to find, just off the main motorway and accepted our dogs for a very small supplement. We will use this hotel again if we are passing. "

"Host was welcoming and accommodating to us. Facilities were great, and property was perfect size for our large group so we could all have nice rooms and large communal space for dining together etc. Lots of plates and cooking equipment etc. "

"The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."

"Beautiful property in a tranquil area. Not far to travel to restaurants and days out , but need a car. Grounds amazing and spent hours peacefully walkings with the dog . The pool was a big hit with the kids and the gite had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Holiday was amazing."

"We were very pleased with our suite. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well. Plenty of room for our dog plus a balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our dinner in the restaurant was superb and breakfast excellent. We would certainly stay again."

"We enjoyed a tranquil 3 days at this beautifully restored property, situated in green and peaceful countryside. The house is spacious and comfortable, and we loved going for walks alongside forested streams next to the property. The house is well-located for sightseeing and exploring the region, with supermarkets a short drive away, and the charming local village of Usseau within walking distance.Although the pool was not ready for use (luckily it was too cold to swim), it will be lovely when it is finished. And be aware that you will need to pay on arrival for some services such as bed-making, towels and heating.Overall, a very relaxing stay in a magical place, with hospitable hosts."
