Top Daniel McLachlin Park and Bell Tower Hotel Reviews
Brookstreet
10/10 Excellent
"Room was really nice, clean and beds comfortable. Staff was courteous. For a non downtown location, the parking should be free for guests that stay overnight. We were hoping to use the outdoor pool but at the time we showed up, it was at max capacity of 10 people because there was no lifeguard on duty. Seems the lifeguard was leaving around 9 when we arrived and the pool closed at 9:45. For a 5 star hotel, I think it would be good to pay a lifeguard until closing to give full service to clients. Plus the indoor hot tub needs renovation, it looks run down."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanata Ottawa West
8/10 Good
"New hotel in what looks to be a new neighbourhood. The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly. There were two of us, in town for a quick overnight to drop our daughter off at university. Obviously hotels know that labour day weekend and return to school are busy travel weekend so prices in general were outrageous so we opted not to stay at the hotel we usually do because it was $100 more than we usually pay. We chose this hotel because it was the least expensive. The room was clean but simple, breakfast was okay. Bonus was that the hotel is pet friendly and the pet stay price is reasonable."
Rocky Mountain Lodge & Suites
8/10 Good
"Good place for a shower & comfy sleep after full day of bike riding."
The Post Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, quiet and comfortable beds and sofa. Very convenient location. We walked to Finnegans Pub for a delicious dinner . In the morning, we walked to a nearby cafe for a yummy latte and oatmeal filled cookie. The coffee supplied in our suite was not the greatest."
Yurtopia on the Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Don't let the idea of a Yurt discourage you from this property. This is a very modern and comfortable stay. Living room, full kitchen, separate bathroom and bedroom. Fully equipped with everything you could need, BBQ, wood stove, propane fire pit, etc. Very clean. Picturesque, quiet lake with dock for swimming, boating or catching the sun. (Shoreline is rocky so be sure to bring your beach shoes). Check in and out all went smoothly, host left instructions for mechanicals. Will definitely be back. Great place for a quiet relaxing getaway."
Calabogie Lodge
8/10 Good
"Everything was fine except for the noise, the neighbors talking loud. It was not as quiet as I thought it would be. They say there is a gym but there are only some weights and bicycles. Not much of a gym."
Knights Inn Arnprior
8/10 Good
"It’s basic but clean and updated. Highly recommended if you just need a safe, clean and comfortable stay. Would stay again."
