Unlike in the online photo, there was no folding shower seat. However, a portable seat was brought to my room immediately after I called the desk. The lobby is huge with many seating options, a bar, and free entertainment at night. "

"Room is a bit small, no storage for garments but the room and bathroom is clean. I wish a bit more space and allow microwave to use in the amenity common areas."

"The hotel has large rooms for NYC. They are clean and everything works well. It is an easy walk to many of New York's best attractions, including Bryant Park, Time Square and the Empire State building. The lobby market and bar are both good, with friendly staff."

"I really enjoyed the location of the property and the decor of the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was awesome! There was a small issue with the bed linens not looking freshly cleaned, and especially on the sofa bed, but once we spoke to front desk they immediately responded and provided cleaned bedsheets. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. I would definitely stay at the Riu Plaza Hotel again."
