"I found myself at the La Quinta downtown Constitutionally driven to be close to the State Capitol of Texas!! During the No Kings protests the alien protestors were protesting in peace!! That is a reflection of the Great State of Texas and our Beautiful State Constitution and Citizens!!! The La Quinta has a little dapper look however the amenities are A+. I was quite impressed with the breakfast the hotel has prepared every morning. The coffee is on point in the lobby all day long!! If you have business at the Capitol and the surrounding government buildings, considering you like to save a penny, the La Quinta location is the spot!! Enjoy your trip to Downtown Austin TX!! "I especially enjoyed the friendliess of the staff. There are solid options nearby to eat - Pelon's and the Hoboken Pizza house were good for lunch."

"Breakfast was a Continental type food but had a server and was over priced for what was served. The parking was really over priced but desk attendant gave us passes for the garage after my husband made a comment. Our room smelled like sewer and the bathroom had a broke front board. We called about the smell but it came and went so we made it through it. The price overall was too high for an older facility. Front desk was the best part of our stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
