Everything was newer. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I booked through Expedia. Great value for the price. Parap is a good safe location. Cafe's, chemist, shops within 2 blocks. Museums, botanical gardens, waterfront accessible by car. Darwin is not that big. If you stay in the CBD those tourist attractions are walkable but it will take all day, and Darwin can get hot. Historical Quantas hanger full of machinery and vehicles is behind the property. "The Hudson" is named after an early CEO of Quantas."
