"An absolutely wonderful place! The house is beautiful, cozy, spotlessly clean, and filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were outstanding: fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was impeccably clean, making our stay exceptionally relaxing. We traveled as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and the accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city center....

"De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Geen kitranden, losse wandcontactdozen, losse deurslot. Het bad werd niet warm genoeg. We hebben bijgevuld met de waterkoker. Het diner was een...

"My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. He even arranged 2 tuk tuks to take us to the...

"Let me start with the good points since there are very few : the look of the room - beautiful Now the rest, I’m an experience traveller and experienced in hospitality and I am ensuring that this hotel can charge such a high price or the poor service provided : - we cannot driving ourselves and it’s been impossible to find the hotel : the pin location is not accurate (the hotel is located almost an hour from kandy im the countryside) and there are no sign anywhere to indicate the right...

Blue Pillars

Kandy

On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile. On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack. Overall it was a pleasant stay,...

Comfortable Stay with Amazing Views and Outstanding Service in Kandy We had a wonderful stay at Summit Hotel in Kandy. The decor all throughout the property has been thoughtfully put together. The room was lovely and very spacious, with an amazing view that made the stay extra special. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — Pradeep and the rest of the team truly went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. I absolutely loved this place! My family and I stayed here for two nights while we were in Sri Lanka for our winter vacation. Prior to our arrival, the owner of the hotel contacted me, and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. He was able to arrange a fantastic tour and driver for our entire 11 day stay in the country! The staff at Ayaana itself is so welcoming, hospitable, and kind. They answered all of our questions about the city. They also provided...

Taru Villas Kandy

Kandy

10/10 Excellent

Just an excellent, excellent stay from start to finish in this historic Colonial building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the team really just was top notch and really cared about quality of food. The loft was a hit with the kids and the fine correction of loose tea was very much appreciated. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The kids dipped their legs in the pool, but also didn't have the chance to swim due to time constraints....
