"We have stayed here 2 years in a row for the basketball tournaments. They are cosy rooms old but have their charm still. The staff is always friendly and smiles. The rooms are larger than they seem from the outside. They are also pretty sound proof. Except the showers water tends to be loud even big chain places still atruggle with that. The beds were comfortable. Coffee pots could be cleaned but that would be our only complaint but they have a coffee shop right accross the street so no need to make your own."

"Accommodations were as described, the pole barn was an amazing bonus for the two boats. Leanne was delightful to work with when we asked to add an extra day on the front end. No lack of kitchen amenities and appreciated having both Keurig and drip coffee - can't fish all day without a full thermos! Perhaps more personal items inside than expected for a VRBO but we made it work and would certainly book again - but only when the Walleye decide to bite! Thank you Leanne."

"The size and location of this house can’t be beat! We had plenty of room to spread out, loved playing pool, watching the star at night and just enjoying the view. We did as other suggested and used a truck for easier beach access. The kitchen could use a little more stocking up and a little more care for the yard would be nice but neither detracted from our enjoyment of the house. It’s also worth checking out the Maverick for dinner, it was yummy!! We will definitely be back for our yearly Roosevelt vacations!"
