The Nelson Lofts - Unit 3 (2 BR)
Newly renovated, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath located on East 2nd St in Davenport, Iowa. Amazing in-unit views and even better views from the rooftop patio located on the 3rd floor (no elevator access to the patio).
This historic building has been repurposed into amazing apartment lofts featuring granite countertops, sealed concrete flooring, subway tile surrounds and exposed brick walls. The river views and modern industrial vibe make for a totally unique experience.
Our check-in and check-out process is automatic and seamless. Once booked, guests receive a private keycode that will provide keyless access to the apartment, and will enter the complex via a secured door.
Guests will have access to their unit, as well as the rooftop patio over looking the Mississippi River.
Periodically, a train will pass through downtown, so we provide ear plugs and sound machines in case they`re too noisy.
Absolutely no smoking inside the unit. If there`s evidence of smoking, guests will be charged a $250 fee.
Absolutely NO PARTIES. We cannot stress enough that. The safety and comfort of you, our neighbors and other guests is our number priority. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
We ask that you do not take home any of the essential amenities provided to you throughout your stay (towels, games, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.). Thanks for your consideration!

Location was great! Very happening side of town! It was a great trip visiting the colleges and seeing the quad cities! Also did some snow tubing in Andalusia and that was a blast!
We chose the Nelson Loft because it was close to the Adler Theater but found out it is also close to great bars and restaurants and other venues. It was easy to get to, but parking was a little tricky. The apartment was comfy and a nice place to hang out for the weekend. The full size bed in the larger bedroom is super comfy with nice fluffy pillows.
It was great! Great location, clean and cozy. We had our two young children with us and not having to worry about thin walls or their little pitter patter feet bothering others was a relief. Would stay again!
Tim, the host, was very helpful. We enjoyed the loft. It was noisy so if you have kids, use the ear plugs because there’s a bar below the loft and has bands playing. Friday night was louder than Saturday.
My family loves the Nelson Lofts. It is clean and supplied with everything we need. The host is friendly and responds very quickly if contacted. The location of the loft is so convenient to concert venues, restaurants and bars. We highly recommend the Nelson Lofts!
Very nice place, obviously spent some money fixing it up. I really liked the location, close to several breweries, restaurants, shops. Close to Modern Woodmen field, Figge Art museum, and of course the Mississippi River is just across the street. Thanks for everything.
The Condo is great! Unit 3 has two twin beds in first room, a queen bed in the second room, and a pullout bed in couch. I would recommend the pizza place two blocks away. The only thing that would make it better is a light above the parking lot.
Nice Place to Stay, But Listing Needs to Be Updated
My wife an I stayed here for one night while attending a concert across the river at Vibrant Arena. Immaculate property with modern loft feeling. While we were actually in the unit for less than 12 hours total, we did enjoy our stay. However, I would be hesitant not to mention 3 items that should be clarified further in the listing:
1) Parking instructions weren't given until day before the booking. Turns out there are only 5 stalls adjacent to the building and they are first come, first served. Otherwise you are instructed to park a block down in a lot that has signs saying "Restricted Parking". Followed the instructions we were provided and just hoped we wouldn't get ticketed or towed. Luckily, neither happened.
2) Neither of the bedrooms in the unit we stayed in had windows in them. Just windows in the main living area. As an architect, not sure how this meets code requirements, but maybe space was grandfathered for being a reuse of an old building.
3) While not the direct responsibility of the host, there is a Meadery / Bar below the lofts. The night we stayed there was an extremely loud live band playing until 12:15 in the morning and made it impossible to fall asleep. Again, not the hosts fault, but should be mentioned in the listing that this may occur occasionally due to the location.
In the end, we would stay here again upon our next visit, and thank the host for the stay. I just hope he finds a way to correctly update the listing accordingly.
