"This is exactly what me and my friend were looking for. - super laid back! It was my first time getting out of the house after having twins a year ago..and Mama really needed a night away! Haha Heather at the front desk was so helpful with all the questions I had and was super nice. The entire staff I interacted with that day (09/12/26) was also so chill. The bartender made us delicious pickle back shots and had a great sense of humor. The heated pool and sauna was so relaxing too! The only thing I will say that's a little negative is the rooms are pretty out dated but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We had the King Suite and the room was spacious and the kitchen was pretty sweet. We went to a new restaurant called the Apricity Tavern 2 min drive away and the food was good and our waitress was also really cool. There is other restaurants nearby too but we wanted to support a new business. Overall we both agreed we would definitely come back in the future! Thank you for making my birthday getaway fantastic!!!"

"We had an amazing experience. The entire vibe of the trip was exactly what we needed. The view was spectacular and so many stars at night!! The surrounding area had plenty to do with some truly spectacular waterfalls and dining experiences. We loved it!"

"Stayed in the small twin bed room on the 3rd floor. Pretty cramped quarters & rough around the edges, old building, creaky floors, but has a quaint charm & it was very clean, which is the most important thing. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, but very small. Old building, some minor water issues (hot water takes a while to get there, adjust temp, was hard to get showerhead to stop dripping), but overall a decent deal for offseason & was clean, so would recommend. Automatic entry with codes is also nice."

"Liked: Welcome staff. Clear explanations @ check in. The room was immaculate and had all amenities I needed. It was quite difficult finding how to get there. My GPS did not recognize the address given on the website and on the confirmation email."

"We absolutely loved our time in VT at this beautiful cottage! We’ve been a few times and love to come back for a week of relaxation in the gorgeous Green Mountains. The owner has thought of everything to make the cottage self-running with lots of labels and instructions to help and a great guide to the area that helped us find enjoyable places to check out. We love the hot tub and the privacy to relax in the mountains. We also enjoyed just chilling in the sweet reading nook or the porch looking out over the trees and sky. The area is great for taking a nice walk in the forest and is so close to Waitsfield, Warren, and Rochester/Hancock for lots of restaurants and a great grocery store with everything anyone would need. Not enough great things to say about our favorite little cottage in the Mad River Valley!"
