Although we didn't use the basement, I can see how it could be helpful in the winter for those with skis, etc. The bed was surprisingly comfy! Thanks for the great communication and attentiveness. The fire pit under a starry night was magical. The only part of the experience that left to be desired was the breakfast. It was unremarkable."
