"The staffs were really helpful and nice but I had to used shared restroom which needs a deep cleaning. No hanging hook to hang dry cloths. My neighbor room was open through the whole day which made me scared. There was bird poop on the glass window. Water stain on the sofa. Parking was easy and a lot of food stores are across the street. Very close to the airport and downtown. "

"This hotel is Wonderful! Carol (assistant manager, I think) at the front desk is beyond good, she goes the extra mile!! We had late flights out of Anchorage, so she stored ALL of our luggage in the office, so we didn't have to lug it with us. She smiles all the time and is very helpful with every question. "Jewel Lake B&B is a quaint place and was perfect for our 1-night stay. The bus stop is right in front and provided cheap transportation to the airport. The breakfast options were a little limited - individually packaged boiled eggs, raw eggs which you could cook, coffee & tea options, some fruit, and granola bars. We didn't mind because it was significantly cheaper than getting a hotel in the airport area, even after taking an Uber to get breakfast at a diner. We did have to go a few miles away to find a restaurant for a late breakfast, as the closest option we found isn't open every day. The decor was nice and had a homely feel. I would have liked to have more time to sit on the porch or in the breakfast room. Overall, I would recommend this place as a great alternative to a hotel."
