Old historic building with updated bathrooms. Beautiful high ceilings. Beds comfy (pillows a little flat). Owners super friendly and accommodating for a late check in. Right in downtown Deadwood easy access to everything there. This is not a sleek fancy hotel but more Waldorf meets grandmas house. We will definitely stay again!

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to give advice on things to do in the area. One staff person even walked us to the trailhead to the cemetery. I would definitely stay at the Iron Horse Hotel again when we return to Deadwood.

Tremendous location in the heart of Deadwood with free parking next to the Inn. Owner was extremely kind and congenial. Room was beautiful, with a wonderful bed. Only suggestion would be to add a shower head to better regulate the water flow.

We wanted to stay in an older hotel that met the vibe of downtown Deadwood, rather than a new modern hotel, and Iron Horse Inn did not disappoint! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is included and the location is awesome. There’s also an old time casino with an adorable little bar attached to the hotel!
