"The food is very good and prices are great and the servers are so friendly. This is a smaller casino and hotel but that’s just the way we like it. Staff and servers were all very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
"Loved our stay here! The whole building was very neat. Our room was spotless and very large. Short drive to Deadwood for more food options, but enjoyed being able to leave the busy deadwood area when we were done. "

My main objective was to ride mountain bike on the Mickelson trail, and that did not disappoint. It rained one day, so I used that opportunity to see the downtown, and also go over to Lead and visit the Sanford underground research facility museum.

Excellent
We had a great time during our stay in Deadwood. Didn't know it was a gambling town, but it offered a good selection of restaurants and shops, as well as live performances of historical events from the Wild West.

This was our first trip to Deadwood. Town was quiet before the St Patricks celebration party. So much rich history but you definitely want to go after Thu-Sun if you want every store open. Can't wait to go back to see more of a bustling atmosphere

Good
Deadwood is a small tourist trap town with very limited parking options. Everything is within walking distance with the exception of the chain hotels just outside of town. The museums are informative, and the town is clean.

Downtown Deadwood is fun and interesting. Lots and lots of motorcycles this time of year. Cool to watch, but lots of noise.
"The superior twin was really an amazing room. The beds had separate sleeping areas where one bed had a room to itself with a very large tv. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. The provided bodywash smelled heavenly!!!! We really loved the room and the Rocksino would be our first pick next visit!"
"Excellent room- it was huge! Very clean and loved the history of the building. The staff was less than friendly upon arrive and leaving in the morning. I was also unaware of the fact that it was also a casino, so my daughter couldn’t really leave the room. "
"Super nice friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub and waterside. Very comfortable bed and room. We didn't hear any noise inside our room. Front desk staff gave us a coupon to an amazing mexican restaurant."
"Nice stay for one night. Easy walk downtown or could stay in the hotel complex to eat/drink/gamble. Beautiful view from the balcony with a fireplace. It was nice to be a little off the downtown area. It was the start of the bike festival, so even though it’s fun to see the bikes and all the people, nice to be able to go to the hotel for some calm! "
"We had a wonderful room and enjoyed the Lodge immensely. Our breakfast was so good, and we had a little bit of fun in the casino. It was a nice getaway for me and my husband."
